1. Hovis
Hovis is a medium-sized crossbreed aged around six years old who was almost lost in a sea of more than 800 other dogs.
He is described as “a sweet and affectionate boy who will play for hours with his canine friends in his foster home”.
He loves to play with toys and would like another playful dog in his forever home, which needs to be an adult-only environment.
2. Panda
Panda is a small Chihuahua crossbreed, aged between two and three years old, who was rescued when her mother was brought to a neutering campaign.
Despite her small stature, she is happy to play with even the largest of breeds and will give them a run for their money.
Panda will need at least one other confidant dog in his forever home and would require the house to be an all-adult environment.
3. Winnie
Winnie is a small crossbreed aged three to four years old.
Winnie will need at least one other steady dog in her new home and is still worried about strangers.
She would like a settled home environment with no children and her adopters need to give her time to get to know and trust them.
4. Becky
Becky is a three-year-old collie cross who was trapped in Romania due to the war in Ukraine.
She wants to be involved in everything and is described as “extremely clever” as she “has learnt when the morning alarm goes off, coming upstairs five minutes before it goes off each day”.
Becky walks well on a lead, she is very interested in the world around her and not bothered by traffic, but will need to live in a home with children aged 12 years and up.
5. Toby
Toby is a six-year-old black Labrador who was recently surrendered to Safer Resue for Dogs after his owner who works for the RAF was deployed.
He is described as “a laid back chilled, happy boy who loves his walks and is very strong”.
His foster mum says he is a gentle giant who needs lots of cuddles and is able to live with another dog companion or on his own.
