American Humane, the country’s first national humane organization, will host the 14th Annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards Gala at The Breakers Palm Beach. Supermodel and entrepreneur Christie Brinkley and TV personality Carson Kressley will host the event.
Known as the “Oscars for Canines,” guests at this year’s star-studded gala will have the opportunity to mingle on the red carpet with the canine finalists from five key categories: therapy dogs, service and guide dogs, military dogs, law enforcement dogs, and shelter dogs.
“Whether they protect us on the frontlines, help us with medical challenges, or just lighten our spirits with an enthusiastic kiss after a long day, dogs save and improve our lives in infinite ways,” says Dr. Robin Ganzert, CEO of American Humane. “We are thrilled to kick off the Palm Beach season with the American Humane Hero Dog Awards Gala honoring the best of our best friends.”
The gala will include a sumptuous dinner, video presentation and live entertainment.
The Hero Dog Awards is an annual, nationwide competition that recognizes America’s standout dogs, often ordinary dogs doing extraordinary things.
American Humane Hero Dog Awards Gala at The Breakers Palm Beach will be held on Jan. 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
